Lost locking wheel nut key
 as above.. can anyone tell from the shape what bit is requried? There are sets on ebay for £40.. but i only need one. Or maybe should i hammer in a spline bit and try my luck?

How many teeth does it need? I have a bunch of them. Count the valleys in the bolt, not the peaks, and I'll see if I have one to suit.
Dealerships have master key sets, and sometimes Audi independents too. They may remove it for you for a beer token
