I really like the interior, the colours and condition seem to make it modern looking for some reason ,considering it was just shy of 100k approx 20years ago what would the equivalent car cost today ?

What an incredible acquisition. As I think I mentioned when this was first highlighted, provenance is everything with such a rare item and it looks like you have all the evidence!

But why was it bought as RHD in the UK when his main home is in France?

Living in Germany, if I'm going to be using it over here then it needs to have LHD lights to pass the TUV so I'm unsure what I'm going to do exactly. There's import tax, VAT, German TUV (with headlamp changes) that I've got to decide on. Or keep it British - keeper in the UK, taxed/SORN'd and insured in the UK etc.

Thanks Sean. I'll check that out. I was assuming that it must be under the front of the seat but I've yet to see if there's a bracket yet.

I believe he had an office and staff in Kensington. When I've searched for his cars before, green A8s pop up in Africa, Canada etc. With an estimated worth of $13 billion, I guess he could have cars in every country on the planet

I thought you might be fond of that

And as for a name, I like the idea of Evergreen. I'll stick with that.
