seeing the slightly conical shape, does it replace the old spring mount on the rear control arm?

Is it a 3D-printed solution to fixing my abused scuttle cover back in place?

e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)

Technically correct

Well done The original is in better condition than the replacement, barring this centre support, so I'm going to repair it rather than replace. This printed part is bonded on underneath in place of the chunk which is missing (using methacrylate structural adhesive), and will function the same as the original

Excellent stuff! Insider knowledge helps here obviously.

I put all the rear suspension back together and forgot to take any more pictures, but its much the same as the stuff I already showed.

The front headlight level arm was seized, and the rear wasn't far behind so I made a new pair:

Turned a couple of bushings for the front C-links on the lathe - the links now sit vertically when the car is on the ground, the same as the A4 links did on the FE. This should make the links last much longer

This is the printed repair piece bonded to the scuttle trim

Fits perfectly

That's all the mechanical stuff finished so off for a wheel alignment in the morning, and then on to the last few bits in the interior
