Nice and quick mod, part numbers are:
4D0 823 732 D
4D0 823 731 D

These are used on the diesel D2's to keep the engine noise as low as possible
They also makes the bonnet shut a lot nicer....

You can remove front bumper without doing that. Just remove the under tray if you have it, few clips holding the front wheel arch liners to the bumper and bumper itself is held with 2 Allen bolts...

I have removed them on my 2.8 as per MJ's advice and have no regrets, the £37 chinese...
